Fake Facts have the knowledge
Participant were on the edge of their seats when the quiz went to a tie-breaker to see who would take first place.
Sponsored by H&H Land and Property and H&H Insurance Brokers, the society welcomed 16 teams to take part.

Hide AdThe winning team of Fake Facts was made up of David Wilson, Tom Johnson, David Farr and Neil Tait, whose prize was a day for four at the races, kindly donated by Kelso Races.
GAS secretary Rachael Tait said: “The quiz was a fantastic evening with some strong competition, and lots of fun was had by all.
“Thanks must go to quiz master Ronald Barber, and also to H&H Land and Property and H&H Insurance Brokers for kindly supporting the evening.”
Universally Challenged each took home a membership to the GAS as runners-up.

Hide AdIn third place was Eric’s Angels, who received a meal for four at the Tankerville Arms Hotel, Wooler.
Hillbillies and Last But Not Least tied for fourth place and each received a bottle of wine donated by Chatton Village Store.
Not a Clue walked away with the wooden spoon.
All team members enjoyed a pie and pea supper before the first round began. The teams were put through their paces with eight question rounds and a picture round.
