Firefighters were called to put out a fire in a flat in Alnwick town centre.
The incident happened in the Narrowgate area of the town on Saturday afternoon.
Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after 1pm and sent crews from Alnwick, Amble and Rothbury.
Crews dealt with a small fire using one hose reel jet, two sets of breathing apparatus and PPV (Positive Pressure Ventilation) equipment.
