A north Northumberland woman has celebrated her 104th birthday.
Violet Brown is the oldest resident at Abbeyfield House care home in Alnwick.
She hails from Wooler and was brought up in a farming background.
She has two sons and a daughter.
Abbeyfield staff helped her mark the special occasion.
