Replica of the Mighty Atom's bike
The bike was put together by former rider Scott Cook, who rode for both Edinburgh and Berwick in the 1980s.
His dad Tom, ‘Big T, had strong links and ran both Berwick and Edinburgh speedway in the 1980s.

Hide AdSome fans will remember Brown arriving from New Zealand as a shy, young, second halfer in 1976, but he persisted and fought his way into the first team and in 1979 became one of the greatest ever riders to don a Berwick Bandits race jacket.
Brown was a little man with the heart of a lion, and some of his passes around Sheilfield park were breath-taking, hence the nickname the ‘Mighty Atom’.
The bike is a tribute from Cook to a great rider who all at Berwick hold close to their hearts.
It is a similar bike to the machine Brown won the National League (now Premier League) Riders’ Championship on at Wimbledon in 1980.

But he remains strong in the memories and hearts and is posthumously and deservedly placed in the Bandits Hall of Fame.
