Two-car crash partially closed A1 in Northumberland
A two-car crash, which partially closed the A1 north of Alnwick, has been cleared.
The collision between two cars, one with a trailer, happened on the southbound carriageway between the junction for the B1340 to north Alnwick and Denwick and the B6341 to South Charlton at around 5pm today.
Northumbria Police were in attendance but the vehicles have been removed and traffic is now running freely.
